Interactive Programme on Career Goal Setting

As part of the ongoing final year students career planning process, one day interactive programme on “Career goal setting and awareness towards skills development” was organized on 07.08.2012 at Sri Ramana Institute of Polytechnic College, Moolaikaraipatti. This event was conducted in three batches with the focus point on clear career goal setting with organized practice and effective skills. The resource person Mr.Sathiesh Velusamy from Institute of Education and Self development, Trichy conducted the events with general motivation about the skills, abilities to develop based on education, current trends and experience.

Students had a useful open discussion on determination of new talents and skills and also the importance of building strong interpersonal skills for a job interview. College Director, Principal and Head of various departments were present during this open discussion. Students gave a feed back on the events and committed for focused clear goal setting and building strong practical skills to achieve realistic goals.
